[PT] No dia 5 de Julho de 2011, Portugal sentiu-se humilhado. Sentiu-se lixo.

Nesse dia, a agência Moody's baixou o rating da dívida portuguesa para o nível "Lixo", um ultraje para qualquer português que se preze.  Facto: só os portugueses podem dizer mal do seu país.

Na sequência de tamanho ataque à dignidade nacional, eu e o meu dupla na BBDO decidimos fazer algo pela imagem do país. Algo que, simultaneamente, contribuísse para a limpeza do próprio país. Literalmente. Com as nossas próprias mãos.

No dia da sua publicação, o vídeo abriu  noticiários da televisão nacional. E, mais importante do que isso,  a avaliar pelos comentários no YouTube e reacções nas redes sociais, espelhou com rigor a vontade de todos os portugueses.

[ENG] On the 5th of July 2011, Portugal felt humiliated. We felt like junk.

On that day, Moody's rating agency lowered the rating of the Portuguese debt to the level "Junk", an outrage for any self-respecting Portuguese. Fact: only the Portuguese can speak ill of their country.

Following such an attack on national dignity, my partner and I at BBDO decided to do something for the country's image. Something that, at the same time, would contribute to cleaning up the country itself. Literally. With our own hands.

On the day of its publication, the video opened national television news. And, more importantly, judging by the comments on YouTube and reactions on social networks, it rigorously mirrored the will of all Portuguese people.
