[ENG] With the Portuguese team qualified for the 2010 Football World Cup, one thing was certain: Portugal would hardly have the same support in South Africa's stadiums that it has in countries closer to ours. The Portuguese had, however, to make themselves heard from far away, more than 10 thousand kilometers away.
How? With vuvuzelas, one of the symbols of South African football, an object hitherto unknown in Portugal. "With Positive Energy We Go Far" was the motto of Galp, one of our National Team's sponsor, for the World Cup campaign. And the vuvuzela, orange like the brand, was the icon that marked the country. Until today.
The campaign, which brought together the country, players, musicians and Mabhuti, an ambassador for the vuvuzela we brought from South Africa, was all over the media and made more noise than any other in a World Cup year.
